Andrew Smith is a regular backstage at fashion weeks and has lots of experience working with fashion houses and as an influencer at catwalk shows.  He’s headed session teams for super-brands including LK Bennett, worked backstage at Cannes Film Festival and most recently he was commissioned to head the hair team on the Autumn Winter Anggy Haif Paris Fashion Week Show 2017.  Weeks later he directed the hair art on the Chanel Joan Ekayam Show at London Fashion Week. 

Andrew is a hugely passionate stylist and is a master at taking influences from key trends and interpreting them into high street looks.  He is also the owner/director of the Andrew Smith Group which boasts 3 of Hampshire’s finest hair salons.  He began his incredibly successful career at the world renowned Sassoon Academy and following on from this, he became a member of the first ever Wella Sebastian Cult team.  He is now recognised as a top educator and trainer by some of the world’s largest hairdressing brands and holds bespoke hairdressing courses to inspire and educate other artists. Expect sensational, inspiration and perfection when working with Andrew!    

3 years ago Emma was hailed the Junior Stylist Of The Year runner up in the highly acclaimed Southern Hair & Beauty Awards and is certainly one to watch.  Emma began her career at Andrew Smith Salons in Fareham 4 years ago and was selected to be Andrew Smith's personal hair student ensuring that she quickly became one of the very best stylists in the area. Emma is Andrew's go-to person when he needs assistance on events such as fashion shows and photoshoots.  Emmas forte is definitely her long hair styling, lazy waves and hair ups and she loves balayage, long hair, foils and bobs. Emma is outgoing and fun and she always aims to make clients feel comfortable and makes sure their time in the salon is enjoyable.

Emma is a highly regarded member of the Andrew Smith Art Team and has been a regular at all Art Team events including London, Milan and Paris Fashion Week and LK Bennett shows and most recently, she has been shortlisted as a finalists in 'Junior Hairdresser Of The Year Awards' in the South News Awards.  Emma thrives on stage and delighted her audience with inspirational cutting and colour work when she represented Andrew Smith Art Team on the Fellowship Stage at Salon International.

   

Ellen has been hairdressing since 2010 and she joined Andrew Smith in 2014, beginning as a stylist and now working in a management role and assisting with salon training. She specialises in colouring and loves all aspects of it, from natural balayage to creative fashion colours. Ellen is part of the fellowship of British Hairdressing's project 'Colour 2020/21' where she is working with some of the best colourists in the industry. Ellen is also an expert in both weave and tape in  hair extensions. As a member of The Andrew Smith Salon Artistic Team, she is up to date with all the current trends and techniques and her career highlights include styling hair at London Fashion Week, Cannes Film Festival and working on other photoshoots, as well as getting a place on Project Colour. Her favourite product is the Milkshake Blow-dry Primer because it's versatile as a fantastic base for any style. She also loves how fun the Milkshake Direct Colours are. Ellen is calm but loves having fun with her clients and helping them to create their perfect hair whilst making them feel at home in the salon. Her clients enjoy her honesty when it comes to hair decisions and her ability to problem solve in a driven effort to help them achieve their goals.

Natasha is a hairdresser with many years of experience and tonnes of qualifications.  Tash is a huge asset to our Gosport salon team and clients and team members love her dearly.   Whether Natasha's colouring or getting creative with hair-up's, Natasha is passionate and dedicated to ensuring that her clients leave the salon feeling and looking fabulous! Natasha has recently been invited to become a member of the Andrew Smith Artistic Team and her involvement so far has included backstage work at Milan Fashion Week in late September followed by her presented on the Takara Belmont Stage at Salon International.

Danielle joined the Andrew Smith Group in June 2015 and flourished. Danielle’s passion for hairdressing began at a very young age and she is currently finishing her hairdressing qualifications and beginning barbering. Danielle is dedicated to outstanding customer service and loves colouring and the creativity that hair up’s allow.
