Andrew was delighted to be invited to join the milk_shake Ambassadors to present the lastest collection ‘Blue Velvet’ at their annual milk_shake Summer Event.

Andrew and the milk_shake Creative Team took to the stage to open the 3 day event with an awesome 70’s themed hair and dance extravaganza that had the 250 strong audience of stylists, salon owners and industry VIP’s from across the UK and Ireland on the edge of their seats.

The milk_shake 70’s themed live show took the crowd on an atmospheric journey through the 70’s from Psychedelic to Punk to Androgyny and Disco.  Andrew joined the milk_shake Ambassadors, Shelley Pengilly, David Baker and Julian Dalrymple to present the grand finale where they each created a breath-taking style for the closing dance. The models set the stage alight with an incredible 70’s dance off that had all guests on the edge of their seats embracing the electric atmosphere. Each of the previous models came on stage one last time to rapturous applause from the audience.

The Live Show was followed with an exclusive evening hosted by the brand in Albuferia’s top night spot and guests partied through the night – a great opportunity for the Andrew Smith Salons management team to let their hair down and have some fun together.

Andrew was back to the main stage the following day for a Live Q&A session.  Andrew once again joined milk_shake the milk_shake Ambassador team to answer a variety of questions from the crowd.

Andrew said of the event ‘it was a huge honour to join the milk_shake Ambassadors on stage for the Live Show, I am incredibly passionate about the milk_shake brand and all my salon guests will know how much I love this company.  To showcase my creativity alongside amazing and award winning talent was fantastic and to present to a crowd of stylists and salon owners from across the UK & Ireland was awesome.  The atmosphere was electric and the choreography, the make-up, the models and the management of the whole event was excellent’
