Showcasing his interpretation of colour inspired by the beautiful flowers of the summer, Andrew Smith presented his Celebration Collection at The Fellowship Of British Hairdressing Members Night earlier this week.

The bi-annual Members Night is an exclusive platform that invites members of the Fellowship to present their vision and trends for the season ahead to other members.  Andrew’s breathtaking creations wowed an audience including recently crowned President Karine Jackson and Mark Woolley of Electric Hair.

The beautiful colours of summer flowers were expressed on three models.  The first ‘Primrose’: a magnificent blend of yellow and white, the second vision ‘Coneflower’ was a surreal fusion of burnt orange with lilac petals that melted into cream and the final look ‘Dahlia’ showed a stunning bleed of pink into pastel blue.

‘I was delighted to be invited back to The Fellowship stage and have the opportunity to present my vision to such an inspirational group of talent.  I am passionate about learning and evolving as a hair artist and this event is full of opportunity:  there was a wealth experience and knowledge at the event and to be able to present and then welcome feedback from some of the industries finest and most respected figures is incredible’ quotes Andrew.

Andrew paid particular thanks to Fellowship Event Organiser Ann Herman who not only encourages and motivates but offers such valuable advice.   His team including Stylist Bernard Connolly, MUA Egle Bakaite and the models from Unite Models were incredibly professional and supportive.
